4th of July Celebrations – You can’t go wrong when you celebrate Independence Day in Virginia! The Valley 4th Run is a great way to stretch your legs on Independence Day, allowing you to choose 1 mile, 5K, or 10K lengths. For a race that’s as tasty as it is fun, sign up for the Brothers Craft Brewing Three Miler. This relay race will take place in downtown Harrisonburg on August 27, and contestants will receive a free beer, enjoy live music, food and more!
Court Street Theatre – Throughout the year, Court Street Theater will be featuring theatre productions, live music and more, including The Harrisonburg Dance Cooperative’s “(un)Moved” dance performance on June 11, musician John McCutcheon, Frank Sinatra tribute “It Was A Good Year,” and more.
Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival – Bach has long since passed, but his beautiful compositions live on to this day! From June 9-16, the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival will be held at Eastern Mennonite University, where you can hear professional musicians, both local and from across the country celebrate and perform the music of one of history’s most influential composers.
