For more than half a century, the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival has coordinated a summer-long concert series. Beginning in July, you can attend eight different concerts featuring talented performers from a variety of musical genres. During the 2019 Shenandoah Valley Music Festival, you can attend shows by The Beach Boys, The Oak Ridge Boys, and more. Get groovy at the 50th anniversary celebration of Woodstock with a performance by a rock band backed by the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. Each concert that is part of the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is held at an outdoor pavilion at the Shrine Mont retreat. Located in Orkney Springs, Virginia, the venue is just a 45-minute drive north of Harrisonburg. Aside from enjoying the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley summer weather, you’ll also be privy to stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The pavilion itself is positioned at the foot of Great North Mountain, making this spot an ideal outdoor music venue.
