How to Spend a Snowy Weekend in Harrisonburg

Ready to turn a snowy weekend in Harrisonburg into your family's next adventure? Just like our recent guests, Kevin and Erin, turned their snowy weekend into a magical experience for their family, you too can explore the Shenandoah Valley this winter! Their weekend was filled with laughter and memories including an afternoon of ice skating and wood-fired pizza at Bella Luna. Lace up those boots, grab a scarf, and explore all of the winter activities located close to our Inn.

Afternoon Ice Skating for the Family

For Kevin, Erin, and their kids, the snowy weekend in Harrisonburg kicked off with an exhilarating day of ice skating at Generation's Park in Bridgewater, just a short 7-mile drive from our Inn. Even though they’d never been ice skating before, the kids learned quickly and were soon speeding around the ice on their own. Ice skating isn’t the only winter sport close by. If you’re looking for a snowy thrill, Massanutten Resort is the premier spot for snowboarding, snow tubing, and skiing.
